I didn’t know it would be so automatic the lights shone down spun round erratically but when I went to run I think I took a wrong step a burning bridge of past regrettably so I just sat back on my couch and I grew old

you came in from the outing to find yourself doubting whether you should have gone out at all but the faces got friendly when glasses got empty you found yourself having a ball
so you thought in your head you’d get shit faced instead and sleep when your head hit the floor when you woke it was pair shaped every sound ear ached and the colour had bled from the walls

you came back from the meeting to find food for eating to fill in the void at your core so you strolled to the table and found yourself able to scrape crumbs from the session before
you were about to get started when reality parted and you friends forged a rap at the door then you woke in the morning to all your friends snoring and decided you should probably have more
